COUNSELING - HOUSING
Offers both housing counseling and legal assistance for clients facing foreclosure. Legal assistance includes an assessment of the legal merits of the case and whether the client has any legal claims against the lender and provides possible court representation if there are merited legal claims. Advises, counsels, and explains the legal aspects of the situation to clients. In some instances, will also assist clients file for bankruptcy protection.
